Dear experts,
is it possible to use the modern cam pulley with the "round toothed" belts on the pantah motor? Did anyone did this?
Thank you in advance!

As long as you also replace the lower two pulleys (all four) attached to the timing shaft with the same type, and with 18 teeth, then you are good to go with the newer belts. MikeV

The 900SSie cam pulleys are adjustable as well. You need the pulley and the spacer behind the pulley to get the offset correct. I have part numbers at home if you need them. I've been through a few iterations to get it right.

The 800s and other modern smaller engines are adjustable too. But they heavy, not light like Carlo's parts.
Q Geoff: Are the 900ie cogs 18 or 20-tooth? If 20 teeth what belts do you use? The 900 belts are probably longer than all the 800s and below.

10/29: I withdraw my Question. The 900s were 18-teeth too. Belt comment is also irrelevant.
