Huit,
Where did you get those cool accelerator pump eliminator plates? My racing org does not allow accelerator pumps.

A little more progress, got the pipe sorted out. A small piece was removed then flipped over and welded back in. Steve Monroe has offered to replace the vertical pipe with another but at this point in time I think it will be fine! In conversation with Steve this morning he mentioned putting in a couple of o2 bungs to make jetting easier on the dyno. Great idea, I wasn't sure there would be enough time, found the bungs today they will be here tomorrow!

Another small job out of the way was to make a sort of inner guard to keep large objects out of the vertical carb. Hopefully I will see some oil fittings this week, tomorrow is wiring day!

Dave, they were on the carbs when I got them, I would be pretty easy to make! Maybe you can find them through dellorto or someone here may chime in! Paul

The carbs are Malossi carbs. The bellmouth and pump blockoff are part of the modification Malossi does to the Dellorto carb bodies.

Hi Paul, I'm admiring your attempt to use an early 851 race battery holder. Are you going to be able to mount it o.k. on a Pantah? That's a busy spot. Those holders are a little scarce, did you get it from Ian? Your build is looking really good and I'm sure you're now hearing every tick of the clock. Bill

Bill, I got the battery holder of the 851/888 forum late last year. Fitting wasn't too big an issue I have three solid points, the very bottom is a 10mm bolt paul
