Carlo, all the GOLD parts are sometimes missing, or damaged. The side plates and the end caps. MikeV Attachment:

I talked to my producer, the chain tensioner of which we are speaking, are made of fusion.
I do believe that the melting of aluminum, then put the piece in a vice and work later, it is not convenient.
I have made the price of this product, making the job of it, deriving from the full piece in question, corrosive aluminum.
We will derive from the solid product, both the inner piece, both the outer plate, then doing later, the hard oxidation gold color, the external cap, and hard oxidation natural aluminum color, the inner piece.
The threaded rod will make it in stainless steel.
I did do the price for 5 pairs.
I believe that a pair of chain tensioner will cost around 160-180 Euros.
Now it is you who I have to say if all this is possible.
Do not mix friendship with work.
Everything must be done without personal favors.
Saluti. Carlo.

I do a shaft at a time, and shake 4 bolts, I do this for the Desmo gear selector, I leave an axial play, do 0.10 mm, and control that dovetails legs grip over its entire surface if this does not happen, we have to open the crankcase, remove the transmission gears, and to advance the gear shift, so that the dovetail face outlet over its entire surface of the socket.
Ciao Carlo. Hi Carlo, Blunt quiestion preparing a engine rebuild of a Santa Monica. The F1 workshop manual talks about 0,20 mm axial play, you 0,10 mm. I do not question your knowledge but is there a difference between shiming a race or streetengine? Best regards, Ron

Carlo. I think this got complicated. I was only saying the anodized gold end caps would be useful too. I think the caps and plates can easily be made in a vertical mill. Here is a photo of the wrong kind of end cap, used in desperation for lack of the correct kind. MikeV Attachment:

Best regards, Ron Ciao Ron, I followed the manual Ducati F1, and he says 0.15, in my experience I never leave less than 0.10, and more, or 20, I try to stay in between these 2 data. There are pros and cons with the precision and games axial shift. If you leave more space change is more smooth, but dovetails, are not taken completely on its premises. If you manage to make a good shimming, the exchange is not never gonna get out the gear engagement, with the ruin dovetails. I hope that my translator does a good job. ciao.

I think what Mike is saying is that Carlo needs to make the rear caps with the central threaded adjuster like illustrated in the above posting. If Carlo does I will need a set to go along with the side plates I have requested. Mark

Ciao Mark, thanks for your help, you must excuse me, I'm not good at speaking English.
Let's recap: I have them side caps in order to produce. So ok!
I have to let go of the project chain tensioner with a central hole?
You will not be afraid to tell me, that I should not do this thing, it costs nothing to talk.
Excuse me again ..
