I've got these giocamoto cams. Couldn't find any info on them either. I now have everything I need to check the timing this weekend.

These are probably GiaCoMoto cams, but cams with those markings are also sold by Old Racing Spare Parts. They gave me timing (several years ago) that seemed identical to the Montjuich cams. I did not have those figures at hand. MikeV |

Hello all, I have a friend here who would like to know if the Giocamoto GM 7 cams are copies of the NCR 7 cams . He asked me to seek the wisdom of forum members here, which is why I'm posting this. The trouble is that I think it is hard to speak with certainty about any vintage race part Dick; and, who wants to face the shame of being wrong? Having said that, if you look at the lobes on NCR7s, Montjuich, and GM race cams they all LOOK the same---obvious longer duration and higher lift than the standard 600-750 cams. If you try to measure just using calipers and math (I do not have a "cam doctor" to measure) they seem to be the same. And once installed they all act about the same regarding measured lift, duration, and necessary valve-to-valve clearance at rest (6mm will get .050 to .060"). So here is another set of GM F1 "7" cams installed. Hi... I had the degree wheel and indicator on a TL600 that's been languishing for some time. The readings weren't jiving with the figures on Brad Blacks cam page so I popped the cam block off and found this. Can anyone provide some incite as to what they are? Regards... Flattop900

Yes early pantah cams. also Gia-ca-moto #7 are identical to NCR-7 cams. The "P" cams (Monti)are different. I believe these grinds correlate to NCR-7=TT2 P=TT1 -Cranky-
