When J-Precision reworked my heads two years ago, Patrice Juteau installed viton valve seals with a small spring around their neck (see photo taken from AV & V web site).
After participating in about 6 track days, I notice that the closer arm hits the valve seals and has even cut in half the small spring on one seal.
I suppose that valve seals with a small spring may be better than seals without spring. But, as you can see in one photo, at least the original shape seal does not get hitted by the closer arm when bottoming.
Have someone experienced this problem ?
What do you recommend ?
