Since You move the rear wheel more to the back, you are moving the center of mass of the bike more to the front.
We seen the results of the bike over the years, so the balance of the bike must be near perfect.
Now you are giving it a bit of understeer.
Is that not going to create a problem, changing from one Moretti to another ?

Or are You going to change the angle of the front fork also ?

Hi Carlo...
Great skill must come with great bravery. I don't think I'd have the nerve to cut and reassemble a special Moretti swing arm, like you did.
Weld on!

Hello!! It's nothing special, the important thing is to focus on and predict what we're up, when cuts have to see if in the end everything will be better than before. :D

Hello, I have stretched to three centimeters the swing arm, making sure that when the axis of the wheel will be all along I will have the initial cycling, and when I'm going to adjust by pulling back on the board, I will have a lot more 'stability on the fast tracks.

I will make a motorcycle with about 100 kw to the wheel, and the weight of the bike, if my calculations are correct, will be about 135kg.

The wheelbase is 138 cm, modern bikes like the Panigale and 1198 have a 145 cm wheelbase.

I now have a maximum of 143cm, which in running order will be 142.

Understeer it deletes it with the heights and geometries.

Moretti is a very agile bike, but on the fast tracks tends a bit to svirgolare.

At Misano, I had to pull back around the rear axle, and the bike has changed a lot.

Uphill races is a fighting machine.

Hi Carlo
I saw Keihin FCR carburators on your pictures.
Are you using those carburator on the new bike?
If yes, what size of jet and needle to you install.
I have FCR 41 on my F1, I want to fine tune the jetting next spring.
I have oversize piston with bigger valves (the heads done by J Precision)
I bought a few size of jets and I installed O2 sensors on an old header.
I am not very good on jetting carburator so if I have a base line to start it's going
to be more fun
Thank you
Carl

Ciao Carl, Also I have to do testing, since it is the first time I use these carburetors, I believe that we have to base and guide to the jets of the usual DellOrto carburetors, I believe that a good starting point will be the jets of up to 145- 155, the idling jet, 60-65, these carburetors have a great pump of ignezione, and they work very very very well.

The kheyn that I have, were mounted on my Original Moretti, Moretti is my 600cc, tonight I open pans and I tell you a reference to the 600 cc engine capacity with the NCR exhaust system completely empty and open.
