Hello Ducati lovers!!! Just putting a question out there, has anyone had experience with krober ignition systems? Do they run a fixed advance? Are they reliable? Do they need a battery? Thanks Boucher?

Ciao Boucher,

as far as I know the advanced was fixed

here a link to a report on Kröber products (google may help with the translation, funny side effects included)

http://www.winni-scheibe.com/ta_haendle ... pitsch.htm

The Kröber products were supported until 2014, when the Kröber successor Pitsch passed away. If you find a Kröber product honor it for being a milestone in motorcycle electrics/electronics R&D - if you are looking for a state of the art ignition, I would go for a Ignitech

Cheers

Wolf

HPI ignitions in Belgium took over production of Kröber / Pitsch ignitions and rev counters
