Long time lurker, first time poster...

Well it has been a bit quiet lately and I have finally pulled the TT2 from the back of the shed to spend some time on it.

Here are some pics as it currently stands:

This is a 600cc Pantah donor engine, completely stock standard down to the carbs.
Frame is a Verlicchi with an Ikomec (sp?) swingarm, front end is currently a 900ss setup.
Rear wheel is an RGV 17" and front wheel is a 900ss 17".
Tank is a TT1 fibreglass tank (tank is currently off the bike to have a tap from Carlos installed).

Planned work in the immediate future:
Ikomec swing arm will upgraded to a Verlicchi tubular swingarm in the very near future, thanks Dave if you are on this forum.
(Have sourced some beautiful parts from Carlos for the rear brake calliper mount and brake stabiliser rod to allow the conversion)
Upgrade of rear shock will be part of this swap.

Planned work in the nearish future:
Swap the 900ss front end for a set of 35mm magnesium Marzocchi forks in the other corner of shed.
Just trying to source a front wheel and this swap will become a reality!
Once font end is sorted plan to install a set of smaller width front fairings that is also in the back of the shed.

Planned work for down the track:
Keen to put some lightweight wheels on (thinking marvic magnesium 18's) but that is going to take a little searching and a lot of saving!
Paint for fairings/tanks/wheels/frame/swingarm.
Also want to simplify and neaten the wiring at some stage as well.

I am sure I will be on here asking for advice aplenty in the coming weeks/months but I will try to post updates as they happen.

Hi Cus
Very nice bike and restoration project too!!
I' m curious about the ikcomec swing arm.
It look like a stock Pantah swing arm with TT frame bolted?
I'm wrong?
Enjoy your build.

Looks like the start of a nice project. If you are planning to use it on the track the 900 front end is a good and easily tuned unit as it shares parts with the GSXR Suzukis. The 320mm rotors are more than enough and 17" wheels allow a good selection of rubber. The stock Brembo wheels for the 750/900/851's are heavy but lightweight options are pretty easy to come by.

Thanks Filippo! To be honest I am not sure how Ikomec made their swing arms so it could well be an adapted stock pantah swing arm converted to cater for the monoshock.
I will take a picture once I have it off the bike. The engine and and swing arm was wheeled out of the Ikomec frame and put in the Verlicchi (the Ikomec frame received a new 620 monster conversion).

Also thanks WDietz186 for the info on the GSXR forks info, I wasn't aware of that. If I am to race in period classes in Australia I'll need to move tot the Marzocchi front end but I will fit a number of track days in on the 900ss setup first.
