the charging system on my pantah 600 has packed up. Whats the best set up for a replacement stator, rotor and regulator to bring her back to life. I am only getting 9.8 volts max from mine.

I haven't used one on my F1 but with its low power needs I recommend a Shindengen SH775 reg rec. Do a search and you'll see folks really like them for many bikes. Instead of shunting power, creating heat, its a series type that disconnects from charging when not needed.

Ian,

I'm very happy with this regulator (after being rather unhappy with different other brands). The outcome voltage can be adjusted and it works very well with my small LiFePo4 Batterie.

The Shindengen works great. Just make sure to get the real deal. There are a zillion cheap copies online. If the price seems too good to be true, it is.
