More than once I have tried to mount a 40mm Dellorto on the H cylinder of an F1 and a TT frame, only to have it in serous conflict with the frame and/or the engine. I have twice sliced and spun the thing and then welded it at the correct angle - that is the one on the left. The new one in the middle does not work either - I don’t have the part number.

But the one on the right, with the numbers shown, fits fine. Notice how the notch for the mounting stud and nut seems to be “off”, like the problem got noticed, and sorta corrected - this spins the spigot inward and upward away from the frame and engine. Not a problem for a Pantah frame, just the frames with the tubes meeting in a triangle above the cam. MikeV

And I just remembered that Carlo now sells his version of these. I am sure he has solved this problem.

Mike, I know exactly what you mean, look at pictures on Pete’s Tt, when I got the bike the bell mouth had a big notch cut out so it would clear the tube, I put a set of Carlos on and tons of clearance.

Hi guys, I followed the question carefully, and I must say that I replicated a pair of intake manifolds, which I found on my original Moretti, before making the core boxes for the castings, I made a test on a TT2 and F1 bike and I have to say that everything works, I sold a few pairs and I have to say that for now everything is ok, and my friend Paul confirms it.
Greetings from Italy.
