Is this how it is done? All for a Ducati TT. Maybe a two-stroke TT2? Available now on ebay Italy. Various sizes, but only one of each. MikeV

hi mike, when i buy a piston, i want it without holes, in italy now there is the fashion of pants ripped at the knees, luckily my father is no longer alive, because he would surely have objected to those who buy new pants .....with holes in the knees!

But these are so close Carlo. You could have them so easily. MikeV

Yeah.....those do look a little 2 stroke ish. But in a 2 stroke those holes are also suppose to line up with ports :-) Back in the 70's we knife edged the rods, stuffed the crank with cork, reed valved em, trimmed the piston skirts and we knurled the pistons. My Dad use to love to grind some stuff off.....I remember we had a little Honda mini bike (4 stroke) that we put a stroker crank in, and I can picture my Dad now grinding on the rocker arms to remove weight. All seat of the pants stuff.

Mike.....bike is looking good.....
