Hi friends of the group, today is a boring rainy day, I have taken courage and in all humility, I will tell you about this project that began about three years ago, and is almost partially finished.
The plan was to make around 7 limited edition numbered aluminum frames.
Everything started as planned, then over the course of life, things happen that slow you down, and like in my case they stop you, making you see the dark side of life.
Time passes, life goes on and where you only saw black and dark grey, little by little it begins to become clear again, you begin to see the colors of normal life, then you get the strength of three people and you begin to dream again, and to put together the projects, abandoned in a drawer.
Unfortunately, the seven estimated racing motorcycle frames have come to a halt due to Moretti's state of health. During construction, having made the first two frames, already commissioned to customers, we started on the third and fourth. frame, but unfortunately, instead of two other frames, I found myself with only one incomplete deltabox frame.
I had to arm myself with patience and finish the work I had started, having to build the rear part where the rear shock absorber is attached, making the height of the rear axle and giving the right inclination to the degrees of the steering head.
I think the Moretti Leoncini number 003 will be a very beautiful bike, given that I wanted to make it very slim and narrow.
the three bikes built are two air valves, hypermotard with 41 Kheyn carburettors and one with 41 dell'Orto carburettors.
My bike will be fuel injected, with 54 throttle bodies.
I had tried to mount this injection type on the old trellis bike, the Moretti 010, but I had given up since I had gaps in delivery, switching to carburetors to manage everything mechanically with jets, needles and atomizers.

last march i went to Morertti Workshop for a visit, there i had the luck to see your frame on the welding process. let me say they are a work of art. congrats.
I hope Moretti health will go better and better.
