Good evening!
Over christmas I have stripped my 600cc TT2 engine due to problems with some oil blows in the exhaust gas. I found out that the second compression ring of the rear cylinder was broken. The pistons are AE type forged HC pistons with 80mm bore (500cc pantah engine bored out to approx. 600cc).
Now, due to the fact that the engine was rebuild not too long ago and everything else looks pretty well, - I bought the road legal Maltry TT2 some while ago -, I would like just to replace the ring (s) !!
Is there anyone who can tell me a supplier to buy ring sets or even sell me some??? Until now I wasn´t succesful in Germany. The ring thickness is 1,68mm.
Thank you very much for iany information and help.
Best regards
Hein

Hi Steve, hi TT2 fans!
Thank you for the replies on my request. Meanwhile the problem is solved, I could replace the scnd. ring by a ring of a BMW car engine.
Thank you for the support - the issue is closed.
