My frame is here finally! Ordered it Feb 2011 and had it 2 days before Xmas. I'm wondering what's available in the US for good quality TT1/2 bodywork. I'm familiar with the Airtech fairing (no seat available), does anyone else offer race quality stuff? The bodywork I got from Harris is not the best, heavy and the gel-coat's thick/chips easily.

I believe there are some subtle differences between Harris and Verlicchi type bodywork. Unless it is specifically noted as Harris style, I think anything you would find on the market today would be Verlicchi, and might not drop right on your Harris frame. Apparently from what you say, Harris must have a new bodywork supplier now. The period Harris bodywork Lou generously supplied to me years ago was the best race fiberglass I have ever seen. Feathery light, very well made, and fit like a glove.

Wow, what a nice looking Harris project. Bill is right, the Harris body work is closer to the TT2 style but diferent for sure. The nicest TT1 bodywork I have seen and used in the USA is Syds Cycles in Florida. It is TT1 bodywork which is very different in appearance to the TT2 or Harris fairing kit. Personally I like Harris fairings on Harris bikes, but that's just me, any of the three above mentioned fairings are probably interchangable with a little tweaking. I think Ragged Edge Racing in the UK might have the right Harris fiberglass. I think Cranky Roller got his fairing from them. How bout it Mike? Either way looks like you are on your way to making a real beauty. Good luck. Lou
