Hi Lee,
I knew that, but just couldn't help myself.

Not sure about a stock Pantah cable operated clutch, but if it's anything like the NCR clutch which uses some of the same parts, the longer the cable pull length the better. On mine I use a lever/perch assembly from a big bevel. Those have a little bigger distance from lever pivot to cable end, and therefore give a longer cable pull. But, even replicas of those are very hard to find now. The NCR clutch cable needs to be adjusted so there is almost no free play (per Steve Wynne) and even that is marginally enough pull length. I'm very close to filing down the lever stop surface on the perch on mine to get a little more cable travel, but would like to find a spare lever assembly first, as my race spare is the one on my 900ss. Having long fingers on your left hand helps too.

The standard bucket sprocket carrier (from bevel's to 851's) should be fine on your Campagnolo's. The Campagnolo bucket itself has a little different mounting, but the carrier won't know the difference. It should be easy to find one.

G'day, everyone.
I've been away from my TT2 build for a while on other projects, but I'm making progress gathering parts for the next part of the build. (I'll have an update very soon, I promise).
But I have some questions.

Can someone chime in with the measurements on what the Front wheel axle looks like for my TT2 that uses the 35mm Mag Marzocchi Forks? I really need a front axle so I'll buy one, Make one, Just need a little bit of help here please. Anyone?? :)

Next I need to make a front fairing mount for the early TT2, can someone measure one up I'll make some up if anybody else wants one as well. I just need a drawing to work from. Carlo?? Please!!!!

Also I may have a lead on the oil coolers for early TT2's too. I'll have news on this hopefully next week.

Anyway, Here's hoping you can help?

Corsa.

Ciao, I should let you see what you need, perhaps with a photograph.
Many times I can not help you, because I use the simultaneous translator, and I do not understand what is the problem, so if you do short sentences with subject and verb complement, I shall be able to help you.

I understand that you want a front wheel axle?

You want the measures of the front frame that holds the windshield fairing?

CIAO!!

I have a replica fairing bracket you can copy (from old racing spare parts)
I'm in Brisbane, where are you?

Graeme,
That'll be awesome!!!! I would love to borrow it to copy. :D :D
If that's possible then I'll make a batch up if anybody else wants some, and I'll give you one for Gratis, for being so kind as lending me one to copy.
I'll PM you shortly.
I'm in Moe in Victoria. About an Hour East Melbourne, and an Hour North of Phillip Island.

Cheers,
Lee.

Hi Lee,
haven't heard from you in a while. Good that you have been busy!
I can help you with a drawing of the front wheel axle BUT, I just need you to confirm if it is exactly the same as a standard Pantah axle in length, dia (at the fork legs)... You still require a spacer at the nut end and a thinner spacer where the drive spindle used to be. I will provide you a photo of my stock setup with my new spacers....
Be patient though...

Cheers,
Steve

What a great thing, when all try to help a friend!

I seem to have realized that my dear friend Graeme, it was already set in motion and is already doing everything possible.

Unfortunately they are very far away, friends and neighbors, luckily I above, speeding up the whole process of help.

For anything that I'm here.

it is good to have friends, even if they are far away.

Gasss!!

Ciao, Carlo.
Yes, Graeme is helping me out.
I still need some help with the front axle.
What does it look like?
Dimensions?
Even a pic would be good to get me started.

Thanks again everyone.

Lee.
