Hi guys this may be old news but here it is anyway if there people out there who would like to shoehorn a 900 ss engine into a TT frame there is a guy in Belgium who has billet cilinderheads made for 900 SS engines that has the carb facing to the rear http://classifieds.classic-motorrad.de/ ... teid=17670 Eldert |

wouldn't you just use a second vertical cylinder head and put that on the horizontal to get the forward outlet? |

we are talking about a aircooled engine with differend finning on the heads for the horizontal and vertical ones Eldert |

Thank you Eldert -- Many of us are always thinking a carby 900ss in our TT2 frame would make an easier track-day ride. One problem is the swingarm of 900 hits footpeg hangers but some easy solutions are in other threads on this site. The simplest so far is the hydraulic jack between these hangers but a metals engineer might protest the safety of that method even though it only needs about 10mm or so out. Overall height of the 900ss engine is another issue but it's only time and money. Eldert; wouldn't it be good if these guys built singles/mono heads at 60 degrees valve angle for Pantah rocker arms and better intake angle but for bevel drive? Franco |

Hi Fran i had a brief chat with this guy ( Jan de Vos from redfoximports ) about 60 degrees 450 heads . he said when he got a little money back from this investmend 4 valve aircooled pahtah heads would be next and maybe later a single cilinderhead btw how is your 350 single coming along ? Eldert |

Hi guys Bob Brown built 4 valve Pantah cylinder heads. A few sets were made, some on the road but the most famous fitment was on a bike called 'fast but fragile' ridden by the late great Robert Holden. www.bobbrownducati.com cheers alec |

hello guys just found your forum last night i am a ducati lover since 1977 and i have also some f1 and f3 mij favorite is the ttf1 984 endurance with the billet rearhead you can find the TTF1 at you tube (redfox ducati ) we try to make more intresting stuff in the future for this lovely bikes somebody asked for allu tanks ,this cannot be a problem,even costumsize we try to put complete kits together,so if there are questions please ask happy chrismas jan |

Welcome aboard, Jan! Very happy you have joined our collective and I hope you can find some challenging and informative stuff discussed here, you certainly have mentioned some of your own. I was asking about alu tanks since some of the traditional petrol tank builders have sadly gone. I did not find a builder of TT2 alloy tanks so I am interested to know more from your suggestion if that's possible. All the best! Fran |
