Thanks immensely MikeV & Graeme, Graeme, at this stage, all I need is a starting point and looking at your bike, I recall your frame is a replica Verlicchi & you have a Gowanloch fairing as do I. So, I think yours would also be a good starting point. Thanks Graeme. Cheers, Steve |

Steve, my computer is broken so I have emailed individual pictures with the bat phone. Ring me and I will measure each bracket and you can write down the dimensions, if you need. Keep in mind my brackets are not coppied from any TT, just what fitted for me. Graeme |

Thanks Graeme! For now the emailed images are perfect. If I require more information I will call on you. Thanks once again. I'm working on the exhaust pipe for the moment as you can see below. Attachment: Also, I had checked for frame/wheel alignment and it's amazingly spot on. String, straight edges & tape measure all that is needed. I do need to machine up a longer rear axle, the Pantah version is too short. Attachment: So, all in all a good weekend's work. Now, I'm off to buy a mig welder so I can continue with the pipe run. Thanks again. Steve |

Well, this is as good as I can do; these are not easy to measure precisely. This is a new TT2 set from Steve Munro from the Romanelli parts. As you can see they are Italian perfection (hello Carlo); each one is "custom". So, yours need only be close. MikeV Attachment: Attachment:

I'm looking at as friends of the forum, help those who need help. I am in trouble, I would do more for you, but because of my absence, and because of my lack in English, there are times that it is better to remain silent, to avoid more serious problems. I am here, and when I see that I can say anything I say. I have a certainty, I am a lucky person, I have many friends who respect me. Thanks to all. Carlo Leoncini |

I still need to finish the garden! Ciao Ciao, Steve |

Folks, been busy...taking photos... Armed with some dimensions to make up some fairing brackets as a starting point we have setup the following. I have some questions after the slideshow.... Side View: Attachment: Front View: Attachment: Clearance to wheel: Attachment: Oil level: Attachment: Oil cooler found! Attachment: Now, for some questions: 1. Oil Level window opening in fairing: Should the window be central to the oil sight glass? 2. Should the bottom of the fairing run horizontal to ground line? 3. There is a "wing" as part of the lower fairing, does this press up against the frame cross bar along where the wiring harness bracket is attached? Maybe I need to show a photo here.... 4. Does the oil filter cutout, line up with the engine oil filter? 5. Are the sides of the fairing directly vertical when attached to the rear side brackets? 6. What are some of the features that I should be mindful of? Thanks in anticipation. Cheers, Steve |

Ciao Carlo, I agree with you. The fairing IS too far forward. I now know why. I just have to drill holes into the instrument bracket further along to move it rearwards. This is why I'm temporarily holding it in position to see how it all goes together before I drill holes in to the fiberglass. It's close, but not quite. When I do move it rearwards, I will double check the brake & clutch levers if they touch the cutouts when at full lock. Thanks for your information. Any more details please sig. Carlo? Grazie mille. Ciao, Steve |
