Watchay Sam, i,m just out of Tow Law on the 68 co. durham. Got lots of buddies up your way from when i was scrambling, moto-cross they call it now, managed to win the four stroke championship in 2009 when i was sweet 60, but shot off on a tangent tt1/2 way. Enjoy your fresh challenge, change is good as a rest. I bet its a cracker too, not many about now.

Do you know Bob Pierson then he was building the bikes for Vic Allen or George Hodge and Bob Eyers both were into their Gold stars thats if it was the classic or twin shock you were entering,by the number of candles I guess so!

I'm way past any beauty sleep being of use. And I'm in Brisbane so it's only 6pm. Nice job on the scrambler. Thanks for the link but post from the UK is a killer. Regards Graeme

Yes Sam, i know Bob, but not on a personal basis, i was very tempted to buy the b50 that he built for Vic, but i put the riding gear in the cupbourd for a while to concentrate on the sons racing. Bob,s machinery were allways turned out first class, and i had first refusal on the bike. I was using 4 valve CCM,s in twin shock, still have 4 to keep the tt2 company. I often wonder what a 250 ducati would go like in a good chassis on the rough.

Hi,
Finally pulled out my TT build to get finished off looking at the last post I did not realise it had been so long. Can someone post pics or give me fairing mount positions on the chassis, and what thickness are the alloy stays that are used.
Thank you in advance, Sam.

Finally started , my swing arm bushes were worn so machined up a new swing arm spindle and had it hard chromed .004 oversize I then reamed out the original bushes ( the motor has still to be stripped and rebuilt and I also had grease on the reamer to catch most of the debris) I also welded in the shock mount. Can someone post pics of the fairing mounts please also the front fairing support to give me an idea on what to fabricate. Sam
