Hi Carlo,

I do intend bracing the headstock on top when I fully tack then weld, how did Moretti make the jig for first frame? Did he support the headstock then make a more elaborate jig as each tube was positioned my intention is to make another frame but not a TT after this one but something along the lines of the NCR M4 so if I make the jig to fit the TT tubes it will have to be stripped to make a different chassis.

That is one of Roy Thearsby's tanks I have it on loan from George to copy there is no foam fitted but it does have a baffle. I wont be using foam in mine as I will be using the bike on the public roads. Sam

Main tubes fully welded and cross members as well, footrest mounts next along with ignition mounting brackets.

I will return to the TT but have more interest in building a wee 250 street scrambler at the moment, something similar to this. Where about are you based?
