Hi Lou, so, the with some US Pantah's, the bigger connector is for the regulator? I thought wires from various parts connect to the regulator as separate wires? I should have word my query as where...? I'm still not sure as to where that connector is from or where is it going to... Sorry for my confusion. Please help? Thanks, Steve |

Sorry Lou, I re-read your message. I think that connector is for the Bosch ignition boxes...well, at least 1 of them. Is this correct? But, why does it pass through the plate??? I'm very confused now.... I think I'll finish off that box of beers now.... Cheers, Steve |

Hi Steve, hope you enjoyed the beers! The wires that go to the plug are as follows4 from the voltage regulator, 2 orange wires from the Bosch ignition boxes (these are on one terminal) and one empty terminal. The plug that goes into it houses the 3 wires from the alternator (2 yellow 1 orange), switch controlled battery power (2 wires) one battery direct tied in with the Verlicchi throttle cut off, the other one, 'power on' from the same Verlicchi switch on the throttle, one empty terminal. Does this make sense? Lou |

Hi Lou, yes it does now. I was confused for a while not knowing how authentic TT1's/TT2's are wired with the correct parts. I'm thinking I don't need to add that connector to my version of the plate except for the addition of that little push button start switch I posted to you in Carlo's thread. I've also noticed your push button starter sits up higher on the plate to get to it when the tank is positioned. So, I'll need to take that into consideration. I'll use the space of that connector to position the stock starter solenoid....unless I can find a Motoplat type..... I'm currently laying out my electrical circuit on CAD and making a template of the wiring plate (of which you kindly supplied) out of thick cardboard to lay out the electrical components. Keep you posted. Thanks again, Steve |

Hi Lou, I have found in my garage sitting in a box of old Ducati electrical connections this "genuine" Ducati F2 connector. I will bring it to NH in September Lou, would you like it ?. Pat.
