I have a Veglia comptizione on the TT1, and it works fine untill 7000 when the needle starts to waver. I have already tried another counter, also a competizione, and I have tried another (new) cable but the problem stays. Is this a common problem with these counters?

Hello, test check that the postponement of the tachometer attached to the engine block is securely locked, and check the internal gears have not had excessive wear.
Ciao Jarno. Carlo.

A sharp bend in the cable can also cause erratic movements. Perhaps it is waving the needle to get your attention as the fun usually starts around 7000!
