Wondering if anyone knows what rubber boots are used use on the rear shock to inner guard. I have been told that it was a alfa romeo gear lever boot?

Hi Jon

I thought that the TT bikes just used some rubber (maybe from an inner tube) sheet with a hole in the middle, secured to the inner guard.

I know the F1 production bike used a bellows type arrangement that possibly could have originally been a gear lever boot.

Either way a gear lever boot is a good idea.

I actually think it is a piece of automotive tire inner tube. I have one at my shop and I will try to take a picture of it tomorrow. I owe you guys a few more photos, I will try to include them as well. Lou
