Hello, what manifolds do I need to fit TM Mikuni carbs to a 750 (Pantah type heads)? I presently have 40mm Dellorto carbs and manifolds, the clamp type PHM. And where do I buy them? Graeme

The TMs are rubber mounted like the Dellortos PHM40-N with the same groove.
I would go for the Malossi manifolds. p/n:02.4025 and 02.4026. The PHMs have
an outer spigot diameter of 46mm like the manifolds. The TM41 have an O.D. of 47mm.

Maybe others have a already verified solutions...

Graeme,
What I usually do is make an aluminum sleeve to slide over the stock intake manifold and weld it on. The Malossi manifolds will work but they are a little short. There is also a difference between F1 manifolds and 650 manifolds for the carburetor angle. With 650 manifolds, I have had to cut and rotate them so the carb points out futher to get the air cleaner to fit.

While lurking on the UK ebay website recently, I stumbled on a comapany which you guys might possibly find useful.

Try 'em anyway. As yet I've had NO dealings with them, but they seem to have quite a few bibs and bobs which we might find quite handy.........

Graeme:

I just today tried to fit TM39s on my TT1 motor using (coincidentally) a set of manifolds kindly supplied by Palmer and I ran into frame clearance issues- more on the rear than the front. The idle adjuster's gonna be a bitch on the rear as well. I've got a pretty good selection of Malossi manifolds in stock and will likely find the right combo when I get back next week. Will let you know how it works out. I'm ultimately going to be using the TM41s and will likely look for at least one with the idle adjustment at the top of the carb for the rear. That TT1 frame is tight!
