Post subject:  F1 Clutch slave cylinder needed....

I have just bought an F1 750 missing the clutch cover and slave cylinder pack (spring, piston, o-ring, pin and bearing). I managed to buy a new cover from Ian Gowanloch but i'm having a hell of a job finding slave cylinder parts. Can anyone help with the parts and/or suggestions. Thanks John NZ

Hi Johnnie,

I recall seeing a couple of slave clutch cylinders being auctioned very recently on German eBay.
You'll likely need a german speaker to decode the lingo, but the site is: http://www.ebay.de and the german for clutch is "Kupplung"

The 31mm Clutch piston (#067.016.460) is very hard to find, I've just spent 2 months trawling the usual suspects to no avail, until I hit up Back to Classics (http://backtoclassics.nl) who had the part in stock, and it's in post to me.
Whether they have another one I don't know.
However I did just receive an email from Old Racing Spare Parts who do have the item in stock, contact via info@oldracingspareparts.com. :D

Cheers,
John
