But, yeah - it seems like such a shame to cover everything up with the DB1 bodywork. There was a time when I thought about running an F1 fairing upper and TT seat, but hey - it's a DB1..

I couldn't take the suspense any longer so I dragged the DB1 out of the office and into the shop this evening so I could lite her up. I'm using Fran's set-up on the Malossi 41s and that proved way too rich, but other than that, the throttle response was great, the motor didn't make any untoward noises and the sound was wicked. Can't wait to run this one in anger.. A bit of jetting, cable lube, a small leak on one of the oil line fittings and I can start doing some heat cycles.
