Post subject:  TTs at the track

Pantahgood (Bill Swenson) dared us to ride the TTs at a track day so we made a trip to New Hampshire (USA)for “Ducati Day”. Both TTs ran flawless and the day was fun figuring out how to ride again. Mike Dubie rode as well as another TT. The only down side of the event was losing a wager with that pantahgood that I could get the TT1 under 300 lbs. (136 KG)on the official scale. It came in at 303 which I guess is not bad with charging system and starter. It’s a good thing our wagers are always for 1 dollar but it’s still losing that’s the expensive emotional part especially to Bill.

What a surprise to hear from Cranky, but a great one! Beautiful bike you have built, and really glad it ran well for you (no surprise there). Did you give riding lessons to the others, or have you become rusty? Thanks for the shots of the other bikes as well. It looks like a lot of rebuilding and improvements in many since NH in 2013. PS: I like the "vintage" t-shirts too.

There were also a few pictures of us on the Fishtail Riding School website. Robbie Nigl would have also ridden Walter (the ex-Garage Find bike) but it has a recently discovered cracked engine case. He did get some nice recognition from Ducati North America though. He is, for now in the U.S. anyway, the only official Ducati Approved Refinishing Center. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Peach-Pit-Painting-LTD/193412837337641
BTW - it was great getting that dollar back from Mike that I lost to him when Walter weighed in over 300 lbs.
