I,m ready for a new fairing for my TT1.I,m looking for the type that has more of a wedge at the front, rather than the more rounded type. Nothing wrong with the rounded style,i just prefer the aesthetics of the pronounced wedge style, similar to an RC30 shape.Any ideas on best place to buy one.Thanks.

While we are considering fairing styles, can someone point out why there are so many TT2 builds with the wedge front too.

I would consider this the 'wedge', a la TT1:

The nose descends quite far down the bodywork. Is this in fact TT1 bodywork?

....and the 'bubble':

...a very bubbly bubble shape:

So the question is, if you want to be period-correct, which styles are applicable?

This photo is apparently from 1982:

Good observation Nick. Something everyone should be aware of before plunking down their money for body work.

Ian, check agshark's nice version of a TT1 fairing now for sale in the classifieds.

Lou's silver and red TT1 is a good example with the expanding triangular opening at the bar ends, and Carlo's red and yellow TT2 is a good version of the curved one that closes down at the bar ends. A lot of other obvious differences between those two good examples.
