I’m sure a few of you have engines kicking around your garage. This isn’t anything new but I build rolling engine carts for about $10 and in about 10 minutes.

Use 2x4 lumber (free-we all have them kicking around!)

Cut 2-14.5” and 2-9.5”
Screw together with 3” construction screws.

This box is a great way to work on an engine on the bench.

Then screw the box to a small Harbor Freight dolly using 3” screws from the bottom. The Dollie’s are $8.99 when they are on sale.

Finished.
(The photos are in reverse of how I intended them)

I’m in the US but I’m sure the Harbor Freight concept is everywhere. Princess Auto in Australia?

I bought a couple of the really nice engine stand/carts from K-Bike but they were around $200 each with wheels. I have engines that I paid less for. So a $10 cart is just about right.

I need to create an unusual and provocative question relevant to this motorcycle forum. The topics include things like Ducati and race regulations.
