I used to visit this site quite a bit a while back. The comments about builds were often pithy, or glowing. Often admired the mechanical details but didn’t like the bikes. Plus too many (cafe racers) now have seats that look like a big loaf of Pumpernickel rye bread out back, and usually no fenders. Then it got glitzy and filled with ads. Done.

When it comes to “hybrids” like this i am always a bit ambivalent. And i have not always been “pure” with a couple of builds myself. This is so close to right, but just slightly off. One thing i really don’t like is the muffler hangers. Interesting to look at - but not a “replica”.

PS: i think Lou’s F1 eventually ended up on this site through the second owner. Much closer to a replica.
