Post subject:  Double System Logo

Hello all

May I ask does anyone have a good clear photograph of the Double System shock absorber Logo as used on the Late factory TT1 F1 endurance racers!

My bike is going to be a copy (ish) of one of the bikes in the Ducati Museum and I need to get a few more stickers made up, including the Double System sticker!

thanks in advance

George

Hey George,

This site has a photo of the shock on the bike so it is not the complete decal but, you might be able to work with

what is there. Scroll down, third picture. http://www.ducatinewstoday.com/2011/10/ ... ky-replica

Hope this helps. Best of luck with your F1 project.

Hello George. If you succeed at this I would like to buy a few sets. Maybe that will help with the cost a bit. MikeV

Hi,

I can check if I have some stickers.
Otherwise I can contact Silvano, double system owner, in order to get them. If you can wait I can post some pictures of them.

Hi Nojapanbike, would Silvano do rebuilds and supply decals? I have a few shocks as well. I will try to post some pictures as well. Lou

Thanks for the replies fellas. MikeV no problem with the stickers, when I get them made up I can get some for you. Of the bikes in the museum, I am doing a copy of the one that you havent posted a pic of :) the sticker I want will be at least twice the size of the ones on the photos you have shown.

Nojapanbike thanks for the photos, the middles shock absorber with the black sticker is the one I am after. (as is the shock on the left with the yellow sticker) if you have a photo of this sticker square-on I would very much appreciate it. I do have quite a few photos, but they are all either too small to see the detail or taken at an angle so the detail is not clear.

I am also interested if Silvano does rebuilds, I had the chance of getting a double system shock and sent an email to double system asking about rebuilds and the price of the handpump to keep the shock topped up with air...but I never got a reply from them...perhaps no one speaks English there :(

Silvano can do shock rebuilds (but just for friends), the cost is from 100 to 150 euro each. If someone is interested in, I can help you.
You can find here attached some photos of silvano’s bike. Here you can find the air pump used to change the shock setting while you are driving.
