I have been putting a bike together for my 'unfortunate' friend. Unfortunate because it has been taking me a long time. I was unhappy with the full fairing on the bike as it is uncomfortable for the street, and I just never felt satisfied with the look. I decided to make a 'bikini' fairing by modifying the original upper. It needs to be repainted as well, you can still see the original mounting hole so it is a work in progress. Mike V is always giving me a hard time about not posting pics so here you go Mike. Lou

Another beauty coming from your shop. I don't know how you can part with them, but I guess you have to eat occasionally. I've always thought TT's looked their best with just the upper on. I hope he's not going to bounce around on the "pavement" here in the Northeast on those old Marvics. But, I sure can picture that sweet little thing being a whole lot of fun in the North Carolina mountains...oooh weee!
Nice job Lou.
Bill

Hi Guys, thanks for the kind words, I'll post more pics as I go along. Hi Pat yes, that is the bike that was at Barbers. She runs well I just need to wire up the street stuff. I will post pics of how and where I put the fuse panel and relays if anyone is interested. Lou

Looks good Lou,
How do you get something like that registered over there?
I know how hard it is to fit the road electrics in one of these, I sympathise with you.
For what it's worth I placed the regulator, starter solenoid, battery and main fuse under the seat.
The fuses and relay went under the dash, mounted to the gauge/fairing mount.
