Closer? More like looming menacingly.. Orange and blue actually works - go figure.. The bikes look marvelous, but where's the silver and red incarnation of the factory bike? I felt completely left out what with my F1 being ready and all you guys thrashing away - so I took it apart last weekend. Now I'm in a panic just like everyone else. |

Hopefully the red and silver bike will get striped tomorrow and I can re-fit the bodywork. You can see the fairings and tank on the floor. Lou

You are certainly "the Man", Lou. Sheesh, three or four bikes at one time. How do you keep the parts straight? It takes me about 14 tools to attach one wire or a brake line; my garage is in chaos now! MikeV |

Hi Guys, Mike my shop is a mess! The 'Gulf' blue and orange bike is for a friend who really wanted a GT40 but will 'settle' for a TT40. Thats what we call it. The colors are pretty cool, that orange is from the GT3 Porsche. It's different, I am more of a purist when it comes to TT's but this one is fun and will be used on the street. It has a vin number, we shortened the tank almost 2 inches to help the 'family jewels' while street riding. Penske shock and M1R's. I just put on a license plate mount, and am just finishing up the wiring for Barbers. I am worried about the replica geting finished as I am still waiting for the rest of the cush drive from Menani in Italy. I am not happy with them at all. Back to work, good luck to all of you and your projects. Lou |
