Ducati 500 TT2 Replica, (as reported by Alec Simpson in Italian Motorcycles)
Hand-built by Bob Brown of Melbourne Desmo Centre in Melbourne, this stunning example of a replica TT2 uses a Verlicchi Frame, a 500 Pantah engine with a factory crank, rods & pistons, ported heads, a one-off handmade fuel tank with flush fitting twin fuel caps crafted by Bernie Willet in Melbourne, a handmade seat unit, original TT2 spec magnesium bodied Marzocchi forks, 36mm Del 'Orto magnesium bodied racing carbs, cantilever rear suspension unit, single 320mm Brembo disk on front, Campagnolo wheels, radial front brake master cylinder and TT2 fairing.
This bike is simply stunning and built to perfection by the master of bevel drive Ducati’s, Bob Brown, who spared no expense when crafting this piece of workmanship together. The TT2 was one of the best handling racebikes ever made and this example is built to simplicity and minimalism to replicate the original. The bike has never been ridden and only started several times since it was built.
