All bikes look great & surely sound better in person. I just landed from Germany in Atlanta but can't make it. First symposium I missed. But I'll be thinking about all you guys my good friends. Have fun!

Nice picture Carlo! Ralph just sent me a picture of his trailer. He was nice enough to take my TT1 as I only have room for two in my van. That is a Kreidler 50cc GP bike next to the TZ750. We are trying to get the Symposium to host all race machines. Lou

Bellissime moto!!! Lou!!!!

Have a great day tomorrow at the Symposium everyone. I will be there with you all in spirit. :)

By happy coincidence tomorrow is also the DOC NSW Show and Shine which I will be attending.

If any forum members are attending - please PM me you mobile number and we can catch up at the show.

Cheers,
MikeA

Thanks Rich, your were with us in spirit as were you all! A small turn out but still keeping the faith. Carlo, MikeA, Paul, Pat we missed you all. An interesting event as it was vintage cars and vintage bikes racing on the Lightning track of the two track facility know as New Jersey Motorsports Park. The automotive Elva club also had a meeting so it was a delight to the eyes, ears, and soul. Chris Jensen was riding like a man possessed on his F1 racer and Mike Dube did a great job racing his 650cc TT1 racer. They were great to watch, especially Jensen challenging and passing in the turns, of all things, a Suzuki GS1100 superbike! Cranky did a great job coordinating everything with the track and the USCRA. These things take some effort, the toughest thing these days is getting people to load up and haul some bikes to the track. Thanks to the people that did. Enzo and his 4 valves were a treat. I don't know what we will do for a Symposium next year. I think maybe it will be good to bring it back to where it started, my shop in Queens. Aside from my being selfish and not wanting to travel around with my bikes, I would be able to house bikes that people might want to ship weeks before the event from places far away. You know, the rare stuff that sit around collecting dust that we all want to see! Maybe a two day show so people can stay at hotels near the shop and walk over whenever they like to see the bikes and can also go sightseeing in NYC right near by. A good way to convince your spouse this would be a good vacation for her as well! Let me know your thoughts folks. I am sure more photos will be posted. Lou

In my view, the interest in Ducati F1, TT1, TT2 and their replicas is slowly but steadily growing all around the world. So, here is my proposition :

Stage an International Symposium every two years. The next one would be in 2017 and after that in each uneven-numbered year.

Encourage the organization of regional / national symposiums during even-numbered years in different countries. Those events would rise the frequency of meetings among us (during lower cost events) and rise the interest to participate eventually into a bigger event (the International Symposium).

This is just my 2 cents.
