Firstly, my thanks go to Ron for organising a great weekend. With events such as this the public (and participants) only ever notice a bad job with a truly well organised event going unseen, and this event appeared seamless to me. A warm and very friendly bunch of people enjoying their singular passion. I came across both for the Symposium and to lend a hand with the Brittens. However, the bevel in the picture took up quite a lot of my time over the weekend. It had been recently bought in Europe by Kevin and Bob (the two Britten custodians) and delivered to Assen un-tested as purchased. Lovely to look at but lets say it needs some further work before it see's the track again. |

Yes we must thank Ron many times for organizing such an incredible event. Here are some pictures of some famous people that were involved with the bikes. Can anyone name these people?

I would think that many years have passed since Pat Slinn and Rino Caracchi have met each other for the last time. Maybe in 1979 at the Isle of Man ? This photo has its place in story books. Gilles |

Yes Gilles you got 2 of the characters correct. First pic is Greg Pullen (Benzina Mag) and Pat Slinn sampling ice-cream. Pic 2 is arrival of Rino Caracchi Pic 3 Rino and Pat greet each other Pic 4 Stefano Carrachi (son of Rino) Giorgio Casolari (Gia-Ca-Moto) and Pat Pic 5+6 Alan Cathcart greets Rino |

It's easier to recognize Stefano in this picture.
