That Pantah certainly has big Dellortos; don't see the NCR clutch. Nice build (not sure what was restored), and I think the only thing “original” is that it was a 500cc. The story is a krok, as so often. MikeV

400 mm Dell'orto ? Marchossi suspension ? It DOES have the special rear suspensionunits of Marzocchi. I think Vanes did race a Pantah in '80 660294 is the second serie Pantah early 80's 18K euro in 2013 is a lot of money for a standard framed Pantah.

I sure dont understand some of the auction prices. A restored 79 Honda XR500 went for over $25k, a Honda GB500 for $15k, a Hodaka Super Rat 100 for $12k.....I guess the DB1 and the Pantah....arent out of line with these prices???

I think it's like someone who makes contemporary art, they take a chicken, put its paws inside the paint, and make it walk on a canvas, then put it in an art gallery with blazing lights ... and rich people arrive full of money, but that they found it as an inheritance, because if in the morning they had to get up and take the train at 5 in the morning, like commuters do ... they would try to save
