This is a picture a mate sent me while he was in England.
He said it was at the IOM and this was Tony Rutters bike.
The year would have been 198? (3 or 4)????
He also went the the Ducati factory and had his picture taken with a line of new MHR 900s', they look to have the one piece fairing, but it's hard to see in the photo.

This was one of the few F2's imported to Australia.
It was taken at Lakeside Raceway in the carpark, I can't remember what the year was, but it would have been around 1985.

Thought you might find them interesting. (and it's been raining for weeks and I've run out of things to do)

Hi Graeme, the top photo can't be a Rutter bike. His bike's always were fitted with a right hand side gear lever. (acting through a shaft running through the middle of the swing arm pivot).

No that is not a TR bike, far from it !. TR's bikes F1 & F2 used a Verlichi frame, ( the only frame that ever won a TT or F2 world championship )

That front caliper adapter bracket probably could be prettied up a bit, but I can't see a different way of doing it. The rear looks to be a non-floater bracket converted to a floater. I'd like to know what frame number that one is. It can be easy to pick at a bike 30 + years after the fact, but I'll bet those guys were doing the best they could with what they had to work with. And doing it at the Isle of Man no less! Not too shabby in my book.

It just looks like the pads aren't lined up with the disc.

As I see it, for some reason the lower caliper mounting bolt appears to be out, and the caliper is rotated away from the rotor on the top bolt.
