What? You have never seen it! Shocking.

My observations: Looks like a late Verlicchi frame with the curve over the cams that got cut off at the back for a different seat/tail frame and footpegs mounting points. Custom tank curves down at the back, and is smoother up front. Tail/seat starts out like a Harris at the front and morphs into a TZ at the back. After that a lot of cool ‘80s go-fast vintage parts, including the original blue oil filter of era.

So I like Mike building it in his head. I don't think it's a modified frame. I believe it's purpose built frame. No mystery Paul, I just never saw this picture/bike before, thought one of you guys had seen it. My bike buying days are over Paul! Lou

It's the first chassis Moretti built. He saw the Verlicchi chassis and decided to make it similar, but with the vertical cylinder head removed without removing the engine block from the chassis.
The photo below is the subsequent chassis, as I made the 10 replicas.

Now I remember that picture Carlo! Fantastic. This was a cantilever frame before he did the rising rate? How many were made? So you can service the head? Very smart. Lou

Yes, you can remove the cylinder head without removing the engine block from the frame.
I believe two or three of these types of frames were made.
Then he developed the frame with the progressive shock absorber.
