If anyone is interested in the details: -
The frame is a Roy Thersby Frame.
Engine standard (rebuilt) 93 900SS with Dellorto PHM 40's on homemade inlet stubs.
Tank and false bottom from Roy...dont know where he got them from!
Forks 998 Ceriani's (apparently..never seen any like them before or since) with a Cycle cat 900SS top yoke (for the 'superbike' forks modified by myself).
Wheels front Monster, rear ST2 both 25mm axles, the rear needed the sprocket carrier from a 900ss (narrower and takes the 520 chain)
Swingarm. Modifed 888 race swing. The axle adjusting modification was already on when I bought it, but I got Roy to weld the underneath bracing on.
Brakes. Front Brembo race, rear MQ (cart brake I think!) with homemade caliper carrier. Front Discs standard 900SL.
Fairing, slightly modified replica F1 fairing from Motoforza in CZ (I live here and they are the cheapest fairings that I have seen anywhere!)
Seat unit from Oldracingspareparts, absolutely terrible quality for the price, huge voids appeared in the gelcoat when sanding down ready for painting! Had to reduce the width at the front too (maybe Roy makes his frames narrower than Verlicchi I dont know)
Front lights Original Carrello spots with homemade bulb shields (that was a bugger trying to get the angle right for streetlegal beam direction!....The spots can be removed in a few seconds for 'racing'...although I doubt if I will!!!)
Rear lights original carello sidelights from an Alfa (I think!) rarer than rocking horse poo and not cheap!
Front mudguard from Old racing spare parts modified for the upside down forks with modified 1000Sport mudguard holders.
Instruments, Replica Veglia race tacho (looking for the black faced one...might fit a Pantah one on instead!) with guzzi veglia speedo and standard 888 Veglia temp gauge (the speedo temp guage and warning light 'dashboard' can be removed in a few seconds to leave only the tachometer and oil pressure light permanently on the bike).
Other bits and bobs...Rearsets modified (by me) ST2 ... Crankcase breather tank ORSP again..needed modifying to fit the frame...very very expensive...wish I had made my own!... front fairing holder (and spotlight holder) modified by me for the quick release bit for the lights.... Sidestand Cagiva Alazzura with homemade RHS bracket! Clutch cover homemade from an old steel one! I like it
As Bugs bunny says... thats all folks!
