You guys hit it on the head! The osla lights are probably from a Fiat the Carellos from the 512 Ferrari, and a lot more expensive. They are the exact ones (the Carellos) used on the rear of the factory F1's. I made my lights with a 'quick detach' system and made plugs in the front as well. I will try to find some pictures. When I owned the bike I never thought I would sell it so I realise now I never took any good pictures. Lou |

Cheers for the photos Oldblue... they look very neat and tidy! but perhaps a little too rigid... I don't know not having owned a bike before with 'stuck on' headlights! I have a rubber pad (two squares of old inner tube) between the headlight shell and the U bracket. I have a rubber grommet between the spacer which the bracket is bolted to and the fairing. I have a rubber washer bewteen this spacer and the alu profile holding both lights, plus a rubber washer where this alu profile is bolted to the fairing at the front centre. And finally I have rubber washers bewtween the alu profile and the T bar front fairing bracket. As much vibration damping as I can fit on in the availabel space! |
