Hi Graeme, yes that is Giannis father on the Honda. Could be a Moto Martin. It looks really special and I haven't found one like it yet. I agree we are only caretakers of this stuff, and they should be 'passionately preserved' and shared with everyone. Best Regards, Lou

I totally agree with your opinion.

In Italy there are many ducati racing bike, but unfortunately they aren't developed as in America.

In Italy envy prevails unfortunately.
The bike is not looked at, not to give satisfaction to its possessor.

Fortunately, not all Italians are the same.

From the bit I can read and understand and the pictures it seems that the original Honda frame was re used?

I'm definitely going to make something (and thanks again Lou for allowing the frame into my life). I've been avoiding building a TT1 partly because I'm so committed to the F1, but mostly 'cause I know that not all TT1 frames are created equally. I had the opportunity to race Fran's large diameter tube TT1 in the endurance series and it's still the sweetest handling machine I've ridden at Mosport. Through my experience with Bar's TT1 and through talking to guys like Lou, Mike W and Bruce Meyers, I can now see that some of the frames aren't well suited to 17" wheels. Bar's machine for example becomes really hard to turn at +100mph because of the gyro effect of the larger from wheel. (anyone who wants to correct me on this should feel free to jump in here). Because I ride my bikes on the track, the only TT1 frame I wanted to get involved with was one like Fran's and as I was telling this to Lou during our visit, he pointed at a set of shelves that contained a frame and said "Like that one?".

So the machine is starting to take shape and if I don't get side-tracked this summer, I should have a sweet handling TT1 on the track for Barber. Thanks again, Lou!
