I don't think it was Duanne Summers on a 851 yet. These guys are standing by John Long's bike and on the other side was Duanne's Laguna Seca.
Duanne sold me a TT2 frame for $600 because he knew the 851 was coming in. He was #28 in the Modified class. My memory isn't so great so I could be mistaken. On the right is Tim Pennell who owned and tuned my F1. This is the Grand Prix race held on Sunday, any modified guys wanting to run were allowed.

If you ran the mod class and finished in the top five you were invited to run in gp.

That's what they said but they let anybody run, at least that year. Erion's brother ran and several other guys that were out of the top ten ran.

You have some great pictures Gary. Every one so far has been a gem. Please keep them coming. I usually just carry my camera around in my knapsack like a total idiot. I couldn't find if you said those were at Laguna or Sears Point? The guy to the right of the Norton t-shirt looks like it could be Adamo. He rode Leoni's Tricolor 851 at both events, and was wondering if you have any pictures of that bike. They could be a help to me. There is another Tricolor a little further down the line, but its sticker pattern doesn't match with other action photos of Jimmy at those rounds. Sorry, I know I'm straying off Pantah's here, but can't help myself.

Ok, thanks! It only took me a year to stumble across tour reply. Do you still have it?
