In fact I wanted to use 0.5mm Ti, but wasn't sure whether it wouldn't be too bendy..........plus I couldn't find the SIZE I wanted on eBay (UK), so I'm getting a piece 2.3mm thick, which wont be bendy at all.................only problem is drilling and tapping the bastard................!!! I should also add that I dont often get to play with Ti, so its a good idea to have a play! |

I'm glad that you are getting into the swing, with losing weight and using expensive stuff.......................only problem IS, is that I HAVE no silver spray-cans!!! Poison |

ducttf1 wrote: Hi, that is the hardest part to find if you are restoring a TT1 or 2! It is a Motoplat pushbutton starter switch. The part number is 9670501. It has 2 studs and 1 male spade terminal. One stud is battery direct the other to the starter. The spade is to the Verlicchi on/off switch on the throttle. At least thats how it is on my TT1. I am sure you can replace this with any number of starter solenoids but they will probably not have the button. You really don't need it. I bought a Kawasaki one on ebay to try. It seems to fit but I have not yet tried to make it work. . I am sure some of the guys on the Forum could find something that would work just as well. If anyone has a crate of the Motoplat switches in his/her garage please let me know! Lou Hello Lou, could you do me a massive favour and search for a photo of your wiring plate shown above of the "other" side please? The side that has the Bosch inducers please? Also, does anybody make a replica Motoplat push button starter? Thanks, regards, Steve |

Steve, from this very thread is Carlo's site: http://www.motofficinaleoncini.it/artic ... ?NewsID=73 Which has a multitude of piccies of Carlo's TT2, including the famous alloy electrics plate............... EVEN including that Motoplat starter-cum-on/off switch thingy................ However Carlo (bless him!), has NO pictures of titanium brackets.................................... Poison |

ciao Veleno, , I thank you for the blessing, at this moment in Italy we have a great need. I did not understand, what I am doing you see in the picture. I do not have the aluminum plates that keep all electrical components. Or Are you kidding me? You let me know, I am suffering! Ciao |
