actually Bill,the image is nothing to be proud of. The outside leg should be against the tank but I have a tendancy to get too close to the steering-head and not low enough.

Let's put it like this ; at my age, I'm not going to be squirting champagne at anyone. I'm only in it for the fun.

That said, I could go faster , and that's always the aim.

Riding a bike which has been successful in the hands of Tony and Michael Rutter is something of a buzz in itself

Would just like to add ;

Last weekend on the track , I ran both days without changing or charging the 4 A/h battery to see if it could cope .

It would seem that the Guyonnet ignition consumes very little power because it ran faultlessly.

Don't know how much slower I can get, but managed to be 2.5 secs faster in free practice than in timed practice .

is very common, because it tends to force braking losing fluency in cornering, braking less and goes faster cornering, it works !! ;)
