Mike the torque arm on the Moretti is c/moly I believe and comes pre-bent. I believe the TT arms might bend a touch if they are installed properly but if they encounter a lot of friction they will distort and bend. It is a light weight piece. The later Ducati's with the underslung caliper used round aluminum arms like a 900ss. The F1's used the sliding bracket on a swingarm pin. They all seem to work well, and have advantages and disadvantages. Just my observations. Lou

The weather is miserable here, but no complaints. Bought some 1/8 inch styrene to make a template for the Moretti bodywork ducting. Figured it would be easier to use a square piece when locating and leveling. Also I can make the shape close to the opening on the duct for the bodywork to look 'molded in'. Will cut and shape it tomorrow, hopefully it's a good fit. Yes Mike if it's good you can borrow the template! Lol. Lou

Cut the shape out and it will allow me to blend the Fusor to the fiberglass and duct material. It will also allow me to pre-drill the holes to hold the duct when adhered. Lou

No judgement on this post please. I'm building this bike as if I was in Italy in the 80's and fancied myself a bike builder! Lol! Getting my Moretti prepared for the endurance racing season. Functional ducting not just fake scoops. The aluminum tubing is just double sided taped in place. It will be welded. I hope to cut the fairing duct in place this weekend. Also not much posting on the site, so trying to give it a jump start. Lou

That's literally "cool" Lou. It would be interesting to take some rear cylinder temp measurements with and without the ducting to see how effective it is.

I've done extensive, scientifically calculated, aerodynamic testing with a leaf blower so all should be good! Lol! This is supposed to be a fun hobby. When the year comes that I have the Moretti done, I would definitely do that. Lou
