Hay people, nice to join in your forum. Have owned a few Italian thoroubreds over the years, alas the only one
that i cannot divorce is my Laguna Seca. (Australian Compliance sold out of Frasers Sydney in 88').
Have had a few years dealing with F1's, even worked at Gowanlochs' managing their spares dep't unfortunately
that was post Ians' ownership, but an invaluable learning experience, (some might say that Ian walks on
water) I would say that when dealing with anything early Duke he is the "creator", over and above that he's a consumate
gentleman and a mentor on mine of the highest regard.
P.S you need any info on F1's i'm only to happy to help.

Hi Harry, Welcome aboard!

If you have been reading this forum for a while you will have seen that we are a pretty friendly bunch :D

We will like you even more though, if you post some pictures of your bike ;)

Are you still in Sydney? I am in Balmain.

Cheers,
MikeA

Cheers Mike.

Back in Marrickville for the last couple of years although i've been around a fair bit.
My Duke is in mothballs at the moment but i'll take a quick snap and attached it.
As you can imaging, biting at the bit till i re-register her and do some serious hooning.
I've made a few mod's as i didn't appreciate the factory changes from the Montjuic.
Running 17" marvic composites (Oscams for this bike was an excercise in stupidity, those Cagiva bozzo's had
allot to answer when they took over, reduced her unsprung weight by about 10kgs).
Period Brembo Goldline remote res Brake and Clutch master cylinders.
320mm Brembo full floater disks (although a bit of overkill there so i scored some original Brembo 280mm f/f which i
will fit so as to position the brake calipers bake onto her forks.
Pederzini Ignition modules with better traction down low and never ending top end (don't we love Desmodronics).

Happy to be apart of this forum.
We'll speek soonly.
Regards Mike & to all Ducatista's
Harry

welcome to the madness.... seems to be an influx of Aussies on this forum. Just goes to show good taste in my opinion. I probably ordered parts of you over the years of my addiction, affliction ...

Hey Harry
Great to have another Aussie and board and another F1 out of the cupboard.
I am up in Brisbane and recently joined the F1 fraternity when I bought a bike off a guy who had imported it from Japan. Its a Jap market bike as it has the speedo tell tale on the clock but only has 13000km on the clock. It has been sitting around for some time and the seller said it locked up when he tried to start it so not sure what nasties are under the skin. Anyway it's in teh queue. Good to have someone in the know locally around.
Cheers
Paul
