I answered a question that had not been asked to me ... I'm sorry ... I thought you were referring to the virus that is currently in Italy, instead you pointed out not to go to the metal detector in airports ... .. sorry .... with the translator I sometimes make a bit of confusion ...... if you see that I make strange speeches .... please warn me !!! :D

:D keep it up Carlo!! That crank and rods should be on the desk top just to look at!!

Carlo and gang.....not to hijack the thread, but while talking motors. I have a 650 Alazzurra motor, if you want to do a couple of things to warm it up a bit, what is the most gang for your buck on making horsepower, the top few items??

Hi !!, Surely the things that increase exponentially the performance are:
Displacement, ... if you find the Ducati Paso cylinders and pistons, they are very good.
Work the heads..with the original carburettors ... widen not excessively, leaving the exhaust pipe and the exhaust valve intact, widen only the intake pipe.
Or leave the 650cc ... but invest in oversized valves..carburettors of 40 and absolutely camshaft "P".

And if you do all these things .... it means that you have a lottery game !!

Hi Carlo!

This is my old buddy Henrik who loaned out the primary gears for copying. The nut for the clutch axle is a big one. Thickness 5mm and outer diameter 65mm, but you also need the special toothed washer.

Hello!! The bag my wife sewed !!
I saw that it is a normal ring nut, with a safety washer, I understood perfectly, I thank you infinitely for the great favor that you have done to me.
A great greeting from Italy.
Carlo Leoncini.

This is Henriks racer, some years ago. 600 Pantah engine, Sports Motorcycles ported heads, and that very nice GPm dry clutch, but also a trick close ratio gear box. It has the old outgoing shaft with the pre-86 bigger splines, but a longer shaft to accomodate 180 rear tire. It was wrapped in Bimota paper when he recieved it. Does anyone know if Bimota produced gearboxes early, for the DB1?
In 1988/89 Steve Wynne bought complete 750 Sports and breaked them to get engines for building racers. He then sold the chassis including tank and fairings (so everything he didnt need) for around 1000gbp if I remember correct. Henrik bought one and built a nice racer. Stage one with standard Pantah forks and wheels, stage 2 with Astralite 17” wheels and 38mm Marzocchi M1R forks.

The dry clutch GPM is very beautiful and rare, I have one and I have to mount it on my GPM, the specimen that I have restored is lacking and is looking for it.
