This will be a thing of beauty once you finish it Paul. How about a photo of that special German-made crankshaft? Tell us about those unique oil banjo fittings there. And other interesting things you find. MikeV

Mike, the banjo fittings are made by setrab. I got a drawing from cranky for the fitting that adapts the oil cooler to accept a banjo fitting. I did a little Searching and found that setrab makes swivel fittings in various an sizes. For the time it would take to machine the thread in the adapter put in an o ring groove and repeat again, I could purchase a couple of the fittings that swivel and you can get replacement parts for. All that was required was a threaded adapter for the oil cooler and the new fitting, a ten minute later job.

Pretty quiet here, waiting for paint work to come back…. I went back to work since there was no place to travel to and not much else to do during g winter here. The end result was a retirement present for myself. Fresh from Japan, forged magnesium campy replicas!

Great service about 7 weeks free shipping. Includes choice of rear sprocket. I don’t really want to ride around on 40 year old wheels on the track anymore …. Must be getting old
