Evening all,

I just joined the forum last night and thought I should introduce myself.

About 3 weeks ago I became the new custodian of Auburn's Paso-engined Harris, which joins the stable including a Pantah I'm building that I bought as a pile of bits, a Mk2 900 Superlight, and an ex-Supertwins 750/800ie "Frankencati".

The plan is to use it at classic trackdays (I currently use the ie and a very sorted Kawasaki KR-1), and generally marvel at its beauty. I'm also going to carry on with its development, where I'm looking to see what I can do to sort the unequal length headers to see how many horses they contain (anyone selling an F1 rear head? No? Thought not.... ).
I currently have a pair of Astralites in the Pantah which should easily fit into the Harris, but I should equip the garage with a small lathe to make life easier.

I'll update this thread as things progress, where there's only been minor detail fettling so far, where the first trackday during mid-March should point out a few things.

Stay tuned for the next gripping installment!

Cheers,
Coose

Welcome to the site. Help entertain us by posting now and then. I like the double driving lights, but the tail light is not big enough! MikeV

I second Mikes "Welcome".......and you have a stable of nice machines!! Mike is a good guy, but on his comments.....hhhhmmmmm I have heard that guyz that like big tail lights may be compensating for other inadequacies

Thanks all. It turns out that an old friend is selling a lathe, so hopefully I'm going to have a look this weekend which should facilitate that Astralites finding a new home soon... ;)

Yesterday I did something that I should've done last century and finally bought a lathe! So, having spent yesterday putting it back together, today I spent a bit of time making an aluminium wig. Needless to say, the Astralites have now migrated from the Pantah into the Harris. :)
