Maybe you can be added to an updated version of the book about motorcycle barn finds. You should have fun renovating this one. Are those BUB mufflers? MikeV |

MikeV Hi Mike, the mufflers are BUB, I bought them for my 600 Pantah but kind of like them on the F1 as something a little different, I need to find a set of 650 headers for them. |

Scrap yard or not.. that's a nice pickup. A few $K to get her back to presentable but well worth it... geez I'd love to make a find like that. There is a bloke here in Australia whose parts business I will plug every chance I get, Ian Gowanloch - Italspares (no longer Gowanloch's at Belmore). Ian has been up to his elbows in Ducati guts since ~ '72. There isn't a lot he doesn't know about them not a part he can't supply (sure - a few, but not many). He cleaned out the warehouses when the Cagiva/Ducati parts cleanup and rationalisation occured... then raided the other suppliers warehouses while he was at it - Conti, Dellorto, Marzocchi, Verlicchi, etc. Need bits? iangowanloch@bigpond.com or (aust) 61 2 6946 2626 Mod: reply isn't really a 'registry' post - move it if you feel the need Garry D. |
